Dear Friend: 

We are proactively working in developing our organization Amor, Solidaridad, Dignidad. We are a non-profit organization with the mission to lend a helping hand to the underprivileged children and families in vulnerable communities; families and children lacking resources in the city of Santo Domingo, in The Dominican Republic.  In the primary stages of our organization, our work will be focused in the underprivileged neighborhood of Los Mina, DR.  However, our long term goal is to be able to bring our services to all the children and families of the Dominican Republic. 

By helping the children and families of the Dominican Republic, you are not just helping them, but you’re also investing in the long-term future education and health of our community and even your company.  A healthy, well-trained workforce is the most valuable asset to any company, and by helping our children to have an opportunity to better education themselves as desperately as they desire, you will be planting seeds for future employees loyal to your company and the world.

This year we are raising money for ASD, through donor dollars. We are contacting you on behalf of ASD and the fund raising team to request your support in the form of a tax-deductible donation.  Help us, help others… this will be our first year and I hope we can count on you for a generous donation of $ 20.00 dollars or more. However, please know that any donation amount is always welcomed. Your donation will be use to fully equip our space and start offering the service to the needy community.

The location where our center recently started to operate is lacking essential materials to offer assistance to the community, and respond to the needy children and families effectively and efficiently.  We are urgently in need of furniture, computers, office equipment, supplies, and others. As we are in the primary stages of this project unfortunately we do not have the credit lines as well as sufficient resources available, to fulfill our mission effectively and meet the expectations of those who require our assistance.   We would like to appeal to your generosity and ask you to help us achieve primary goals of our project, help us to work vigorously and bring happiness, prosperity and welfare to the inhabitants in Los Mina, Dominican Republic. 

Your donation will be well received and you will be compensated with the satisfaction of seeing the dreams and hopes of hundreds of children and families who call for better opportunities, made into a realization.

Después de saludarle, médiante esta carta queremos anunciarle la formación de la Fundación, Amor, Solidaridad y Dignidad(ASD) que ha sido creada con el objetivo de ayudar a los más necesitados en La Republica Dominicana.

Permítanos expresarle nuestra admiración y sinceras felicitaciones por su gestión en beneficio de la humanidad. Conocedor de su espíritu altruista y benefactor de las causas nobles en favor de los más necesitados, nos es grato dirigirnos a Usted con la seguridad que nuestras peticiones serán acogidas.

Somos una Fundación sin fines de lucro, cuyo propósito es ayudar a la población infantil y familias vulnerables de las comunidades más carecientes de recursos  de la cuidad de Santo Domingo Este, RD. Desde el inicio de nuestra misión hemos estado funcionando con recursos limitados y contando con aportes de personas desinteresadas preocupadas por el desarrollo de proyectos de esta naturaleza.

Es nuestra intención es establecer un centro de ayuda donde las personas con necesidad puedan llegar en busca de ayuda. El centro mencionado carece de todo tipo de  herramientas que nos permitan  realizar de manera óptima nuestra labor y así atender a un mayor número de necesitados. En este momento se requieren urgentemente muebles de oficinas,  computadora para iniciar, pero desafortunadamente no contamos con líneas de créditos ni recursos suficientes para adquirirlos y así cumplir con nuestra misión de efectiva y cumpliendo con las expectativas de los que requieran nuestra asistencia.

Acudimos a su generosidad para que se integre a nuestro proyecto, colaborando decididamente y así llevar algo de felicidad, prosperidad y bienestar a los habitantes del sector de los Mina.  Tenga la seguridad que su donación será bien recibida y compensada con la satisfacción de ver realizados los sueños y anhelos de cientos de niños y familias que claman por educación,  otros servicios y porque el mundo les de una oportunidad.
